Holy. Why would your dad do such an extreme thing and disconnect you from your friends? Sounds like a parenting failure. If you want to talk about it, id be up to it. And we can use something else besides discord too

It's not parenting failure, could say overprotective. I love my dad, but I don't agree with the extreme measures. And can get explosive sometimes. Though my parents do want the best of me and keep me safe.

Also cooks really tasty food too

They can love you and still fail at parenting sometimes. Being overprotective would limit you, but this might disconnect you from your friends, thats extreme, and it teaches you only to not trust your father, and walk on eggshells. Parents are same people like us, noone taught them how to be a parent, so they just try what they can and learn from experience, often not having done something before and making a mistake. Im not sure what led to such an extreme outcome, but either way its a destructive measure. Similar to a father finding his kid watching porn, then he decides to put a locked blinder on his hids head, so he just cant see when dad doesnt want him to see instead of explaining why its bad and offering alternatives to the reasons why kid watched porn

That's fair. Also the internet can be dangerous so I can see why, yet I have to deal with a burden sometimes. But that's all I'm gonna cover about this inconvenience.
