This is a concept I made at 2021, but I thought it was too silly and I never posted it =P At that time I was obsessed with Street of Rage 4 art style.
The name I imagine is "Narrow Gate". I wrote the story concept, designed 10 main characters with their backstory, and the script for an introductory comic featuring the protagonist.
PS: As a fun fact the story occurs in the same world than Lush puppies, so you may guess there are a lot of other species outside the city of dogs.

Chicobo and I played it in co-op for countless hours. The story is weak, and the level design is perhaps too classic by today's standards, but the game's strength lies in learning how to use the characters properly. Despite their seemingly limited repertoire, with practice, you can create combinations that depend on your ingenuity, making character mastery very entertaining, as is trying to improve combos and other skills. It's an old-school game with well-implemented mechanics and a basic but highly polished fighting system. The graphics (at least to me) are very appealing and artistically stylish. I'd say it's more of a game for playing with friends than a single-player experience.
