This tells the story of how Jack ends up revisiting the abandoned Newlight Orphanage he used to live in before being adopted by Raymond Ancel. Down in the basement where Jack would sneak to, to be alone from his horrible treatment, he would rewatch an old cartoon called "The Jolly Cottage" from a VHS tape on an old but still functional TV. He would watch the tape and have a good time with it, almost feeling too glued to the screen. However, after watching it and leaving it alone, he then starts developing strange dreams and hallucinations that are related to the tape, almost like he's part of the show himself, messing with his reality. Sensing now it could be cursed by an unknown entity tampering with the tape, he needs to find a way to break the curse by finding the tape after it mysteriously disappeared from the orphanage after his rewatch.
