I was inspired by a friend at camp. It took me a very, VERY long time. And then I discovered this cool new technique where you blow watercolor blobs with a straw and it branches out in all these cool patterns. I also used salt, but that didn't turn out so well. But it left some cool salt residue that sparkles in the light.
Let's play I Spy! Can you find:
2 Phoenixes
3 Doves
2 Ravens
2 TARDISes
1 Guitar
And of course, if you look closely, there are SO MANY different little drawings. I really liked doing suns and moons and stars, there are tons of those. Of course, a good chunk of it is just lines.
Microns, watercolor. 9inch by 12inch.

Only one favorite? What a pity; I love this piece and how the representational subject (the wolf) is comprised of abstract patterns and things. Reminds me of doodle exercises we had to do in one of my Design Fundamentals classes where you had to take up an entire page of nothing but abstract "nonsense."
