Since they just announced a live action version of Hong Kong Phooey, with Eddie Murphy as his voice, I dug out this pic.
Wish I could remember the con or who was in the suit. All I recall was it was a very nice guy who I used to chat online with. He actually went to all the trouble of getting official permission from the license holder to make the suit. As you can see it came out great, all that was missing was a plushie of Spot, the official police cat.
I think he even had a copy of the Hong Kong Book of Kung-Fu

Not a big Murphy fan but I think he could pull off the voice.
Whats making me wonder is how they'll pull off the fact Penry/Hong Kong was the only anthropomorphic character inn that world. The description said Penry finds a costume and fights crime, wonder if he'll become a fursuiter?
