I honestly wish I could better find the words to describe how passionately I feel about this icon.

You did an astounding job capturing a very intimidating, but very alluring essence he's consistently kept throughout his different forms, and I know the hat was a bit of a challenge to work in to this icon, but my gratitude goes to you not just for squeezing it in, but making it work so well in a way that compliments his personality, too. I LOVE the way his hair is swept over his blind eye, covering all insecurities and keeping such a strong front focused on the viewer.

It feels surreal to see Zayne's finalized look in a style that's always brought out the best in him, and yet even now, I still find it crazy you're able to take whichever form he's taken throughout the years and make absolute magic happen with it, and this is no exception. It's been a long ride in the nine years (how sobering, lol) since I've had Zayne beneath my belt, with a lot of small and big changes made to him as he's evolved as a character, and likewise as I've gone through my own changes alongside him. But while his appearance has adapted, you've only further continued to refine and sharpen up that striking, handsome visage of his, and as I fully settle into this design -- an appearance I'm finally happy with, after so many years (and I swear, the final revision, haha) -- I'm happy to keep coming back to you with confidence that you'll always be able to do him incredible justice, as you've always done before and as you've continued to do now.

I couldn't be happier with this icon and with Zayne, and am ever grateful to you and your astounding hard work and saint-like patience, not just with this project, but for so many years of continued top quality service. And know that, as the years go by, you'll always have a big fan rooting for you, and only more eager to return later down the line for more masterpieces like this one. ^^

I played around with how close to get with this icon or how far away, but it needed to have that readability of his expression and that signature stoic gaze at the viewer. Even with the number of works I've drawn of him, I always get nervous that I won't live up to the standard that past pieces have set. ^^;

You did an amazing job capturing the perfect distance-to-legibility ratio in his icon. Whether I'm browsing FA and seeing the smaller icon up top, or signing in on my PS5 and seeing him dead-focused on the screen, it's perfectly readable the exact vibe you meant to give off with his stoicism. By a wide margin, my favorite icon of him I've used, and one I'm all the more grateful to you for your hard work in absolutely nailing. ^^
I understand that nervousness, but if it's any consolation, you only further improve with every project of Zayne and Hunter we work on. I only get all the more pumped when I see your delightful renditions of them, and the opportunities down the road for more projects featuring them and Mahru really keep me excited for future possibilities as well.
