Everything Changes, Prince of Pearl
Arkose returned to his birth kingdom only to find that both of them have drastically changed since he last lived here.
Dragons are nowhere to be seen. All the streets are empty, silent. When he walked through his old home, there was no voice of greeting. Any sense of nostalgia crushed by sheer nothingness.
Arkose was banished from the kingdom only to have everyone disappear within less than a few years? Even as he left the hollow kingdom the next night, he truly struggled to believe everyone was gone.
Meta:
I went through another molt! As I'm feeling comfortable in the form of Arkose, I feel like I'm finally beginning to better flesh out the concept. I hope you enjoy the new markings as much as it was a joy to design them ^^. Not an easy choice, but one that felt right in the end <3
