I listen to the wind. I savor the storms. The stones guide my steps, and the trees shade my way. Plants and beasts fill my stomach even as the sun and song of the world fill my soul. Herbs grow and help me heal even as they provide flavor to life. Waters flow and teach that I must always press on; sometimes leisurely, sometimes at speed; that obstacles may come, yet even as I press against them, I can find my way around them and can continue on. Fires burn and warm, cleanse and harden, provide rage and warmth in equal measure. The land speaks, and I grow. The world sings, and I fly. I live a part of this world, in this world, a creature formed of starstuff eternal and energy indomitable. And when I fade, as all things do, I will return to this world I love and join my song to theirs, that I may help others learn the love that resides all around, and that I may nourish them even as others who passed on before have nourished me
