Yes, you're right, it's been a long time since I've created a piece of Master Tigress. So here it is, even though it's probably like my usual tigress subjects. I had this idea of ​​Tigress as a 90%-feral, performing her morning Tai Chi exercises in a little stream.

The drawing was meant to consist solely of cool blues and the tigrish orange, conveying a certain lightness and elegance, without any garish colors, relying instead on transparency and delicacy. Unfortunately, it's difficult to explain what I mean, and I can't even find a reference watercolor that would illustrate it.

At least I can say it didn't work out that well. I had experimented a bit on a piece of practice paper, but I used a different brush for the actual painting (because the canvas was larger). Consequently, too much paint ended up on the paper, everything became more opaque as I wanted to be, and I don't know why the warm brown ended up in the drawing at all. So this piece – partly due to the intrusive outlines – lacks the hoped-for lightness. All in all, it has some of what I wanted, just not that much. However, I don't think it's completely messed up.
