The ground rumbled, tiny rocks and pebbles crackling down the walls of the cave as something large began to enter. It persisted for a few moments before the cause of the miniature earthquake finally appeared. A black and red serpentine figure slowly slithered through the entrance of the cave. It's eyeless gaze focusing ahead, lips twisted into a smile as relief of making it back to it's den. The Wormonger continued to slowly slither further into the cave, the sounds of gurgles and groans growing ever louder before the source was finally revealed. A grotesquely swollen and large part of the worm's coils gently squirmed and fought around, the Wormonger's food still alive and kicking inside of it's belly. It gets dragged along, muffled protests and gurgles emanating all the while as the last of those black and red coils finally drag into the cave.
Twisting and turning itself, the content Wormonger decides to get itself more comfortable now that it is back home, ignoring its full belly as its food normally settles down after a little bit... those squirms felt weak at the moment anyway. It opened it's maw to yawn, those sharp ivory teeth and the deep fleshy abyss on full display before vanishing entirely with a clack of those jaws. It hardly even bothers to twist its head to gaze at the lump in its long body, much too tired... perhaps from a food coma. It laid it's head gently down on the cave floor, settling down and preparing for a well deserved nap after a successful outing.
Meanwhile, the bulge twitches and gently pushes, the struggles seemingly weak while the churning of digestion became more apparent. Muffled Grrrrrrnnngglllls and Grroooooaaans echo in the Wormonger's Den, filling the silence and no doubt scaring away any curious creatures that may decide to intrude of the large beast. Inside of the belly of the worm, a golden rathalos lays flat on his stomach, the flesh around him compacting and squeezing tight around him to prevent him from moving further. As much as he wanted to verbally protest, he was in the deepest part of the Wormonger's stomach. There was still digesting food all around him, with the bones of previous prey pressing against his hardy golden scales. He was caught off-guard sleeping and didn't know exactly what had eaten him, but since he felt the ground beneath him and being twisted and turned. Its fair to say he was inside of a worm, snake, or someone's long tail. Either way, Jolk mentally frowned at his predicament... but hearing his predator yawn gave him a plan...
Something that
akaikosh had made for me a while back, at least a month and a half ago I think. My appreciation for worm preds was only reaffirmed with this comic.~
Anyway, I'll be posting this comic slowly (not giving a time between releases cause I'm inconsistent), each comic page is gonna have its own story description. This is the Classic Wormonger version.
