Story
Two tender spirits approached Amendelwyr as she drifted in the water. The blooms of Lotus flowers reaching up from the bed of sand and soil. She reached out lightly as the the fish investigated her, sensing her magical power.
She smiled at them, appreciating their coloration and gentleness. She kept rather still, barely lifting her claws up to brush at their scales. The whiskers of the koi felt along her digits, finding it comfortable to do so. It's partner drifted closer too, eased by the aura of peace.
They remained with her for some time, then departed to another part of the pool while she continued her underwater meditation. A place to create more wonder, more peace.

At another time, months ago now aheh, this was some fascinating artist link-up, where somehow they all had the same idea... Koi fish.~
Now, I'm not a fanatic. I like fish in general, but this is one of the ones that came during such little chats.
I love the impressions this gives me. The swim in such clear sweet-water. The lotuses. The calm fish approaching her and the scene that plays in my head. The magic of it.
