Story:

Gamers aren't the most calm bunch, especially when they're trying to accomplish a world record! The lizard girl, Goobella, was one such hot-head. She was currently trying to beat Dark Souls using a modified SNES controller, while her brown-furred monkey friend Jelly watched. Unfortunately, Goobella was also a wizard and one heated gamer moment was about to change the pair forever...

Things were going good for the duo as Goobella cleared the bosses, all while she relaxed on the couch with her friend. Jelly stretched and smiled as she waved her prehensile tail around, "You're doing great, Goobella!"

"Thanks, Jelly!"

"Though I gotta ask, why is your character wearing only black leather pants and a metal pig head?"

"It's just how I roll, monkey lass!"

Goobella was beating the game easily, until she reached the Bed of Chaos. It's considered one of the easiest bosses in the game, but for some reason proved impossible for the lizard girl on her SNES controller. Her moist scaly hands mixed with the age of the controller made playing through it a surprise challenge! Goobella got so mad that she accidentally uttered the "Humanfying Curse" by mistake: "From demon realm to earthly lands, I reject my beastly hands!"

As soon as Goobella unknowingly uttered the incantation, the pair were quickly surrounded by electricity and sparkles. Jelly gasped, "Goobella, something's going on!"

"Yeah, me sucking is what's going on! Let me focus!"

SWHOOMP! Jelly's tail magically receded leaving a hole in the back of her pants that showed her butt-crack. "This can't be happening!" Shouted the monkey.

"Yeah, I can't believe I'm sucking this hard too." Goobella said, not noticing her tail disappearing as well.

Jelly's fur withdrew into her skin, leaving her completely hairless, "That's not what I'm talking about! We're losing."


"Tell me about it, there's no way I'm reaching that record now." The lizard said while her scales morphed into human flesh.

Jelly's pink nose turned into a round little human's nose as her hand-feet became just regular human feet, "That's not what I mean! I'm talking about the humanity of things."

Goobella's horns and reptile features completely disappeared, "Oh please, do either of us look like humans?"


Jelly grabbed the remote and turned off the TV, revealing the pair's new appearances in the mirror. They had become fully human, lacking any of the animal features they had before. “WE DO!” shouted the former monkey.
Goobella stood up and grabbed her now tail-less butt, "Now that's different!"

Jelly stood up as she pouted, "I'll say! You cursed us during a heated gamer moment AGAIN!"

"At least this time we didn't turn into donkeys. Still, I might be able to reverse it..."

Jelly poked the now snout-less face of her friend, "What do you mean 'might'?!"

"Look, human magic is less consistent than lizard magic. But in theory, I should be able to reverse it!"

"And what happens if you mess up the spell?"

Goobella blushed nervously, "Then we may end up head-swapped with something silly forever!"

Jelly sighed, "It's a chance we'll have to take! Better than going without tails forever. How can I climb trees without one?!"

"Maybe use your hands!"

Jell slapped her face, "Just get to the magic stuff, magic girl!"

"Fine..."
