Okay, couple of things to explain.

1) "Sidewalk Fruit Salad" is what my friend Steph calls her "band" even though it's oftentimes just her mixing together whatever comes to her head. She never names her songs and so Lilia and I are left to name them.

2) Despite being a "hardcore punk" in look and attitude, Steph's music rarely falls into the "punk" territory. It's mostly guitar and whatever instruments you can squeeze out of an electric keyboard. The Roc makes for a surprisingly good recording studio at night or before opening, even though that often means she is plucking and piano-ing with paws.

3) Steph only ever really plays or records stuff when she is feeling melancholic. She's been dealing with some stuff with Jake recently, so she made this. Usually she throws her songs away but sometimes Lilia and I will be able to talk her into sharing some of the more chill songs.
