...to a fuzzy face.

Every since looking after the lovable derp, Correy, I've been jonesing to get my own dog.

Well, a couple days ago, one of the ladies at my workplace found a stray pup wandering around outside. Taking a long lunch, she took her to a vet for a quick look over, then brought her back to work to find someone to give her a home.

...I couldn't say no... It was just impossible...

So far she hasn't had her first round of shots yet, but she's going in Monday evening to get a good checkup. Initially, she was pretty lethargic and dehydrated. But after a couple days of puppy food and water, she's already trotting around with her little tail wagging and already chewing up everything she can get her jaws on... So that's a good sign. :-P

I've named her Elwing, or Elly, after yet another character from Tolkien. So far she already knows that outside is for pooping, so I'm going to reinforce that before she starts making messes.

I just couldn't say no... But I don't regret it at all. ^.=.^
