Faved 'cause it reminded me of one Summer long ago where I was in a 1966 VW Microbus that was falling apart, and the driver depended on such tactics to keep the van on the road. Of course "Jack" also wasn't afraid to ask his passengers to open the doors and drag their feet on the road to bring the vehicle to a stop either.
