Jaz and Alkimos weren't always the glamorous crime lords ruling the underground magic trade of the East-Side borough of Gallecross.
They used to be two kids in over their heads, each desperately trying to keep the other safe as they clung to the only bit of home they had left: each other.
Jaz, as the slightly older one, tried to protect Alkimos, but eventually Alkimos got fed up with being treated like that and the two officially became the dangerous duo they were destined to be. Though their romance didn't happen until many years later.
