...or we could stop regarding the bible as a "good book", even though its moral lessons are simplistic and it's filled by a lot of frankly pretty horrific stuff. Instead we could acknowledge that a lot of texts and stories could inspire and enlighten you, and that morality ultimately comes down to using your reason and conscience, it does not have to come from any sort of belief in a higher power, in fact, it works much better without it.
