This is a reference picture of my favorite little Piplup, Pip. I created him when the fourth Generation was still relatively new, I think Platinum hadn't come out just yet and they were just getting down from the high of Pearl and Diamond when I decided to create Pip for my Mom, to try and get her into Pokemon. It failed, but I loved his character, so I kept him.

Pip is the oldest of seven kids, but is the only one that is still a Piplup. He has three Empoleon brothers, and three Empoleon sisters, all younger than him.

The headband on his head is made of an Everstone to prevent himself from evolving. He has a reason for not wanting to evolve, but he's never told anyone what it was, not even Ardra(me). All he's ever mentioned about it was that he wanted a item made of an Everstone that would be useful in his training. All I could think to make for him was a headband, so it could double as a sweatband.
