In the original publication of the origin story, the awakening of Bea "somewhere" was hidden from first side by being over-page. when Vision Comics republished it, the impact was unfortunately ruined by having the awakening on a page visible just after her shooting. (One of several small reasons why I prefer the Mu edition.)

In their appearance in a later story, the reader will notice the Beings each speaks in his, hers, or its own type face. The silvery sphere is not itself The Beings, merely their manifestation in our dimension. Inside... well... that's another story, one I never got to tell. And I'm not telling now.
