It can be reassuring to have someone else put together your wardrobe for you for a major event. You want to fit in but also look good, and the weight of choice can leave one completely lost. So of course I was eager to accept the offer, that I'd get a free invite to the nicest party in town with a dress picked out by the host. And it is a lovely dress, don't get me wrong. I just expected to be able to... move? I suppose I can waddle with this tight hobble skirt, but tying my arms back behind my back really is too much! Especially since with the bouquet stuck between my hands behind my back, people might not even realize I'm bound! But I think people are definitely starting to realize, why else would they be staring? I suppose they could just like the dress but, I have a sneaking feeling I've become part of the entertainment for the event...
