The night had grown stale by the time Lapis found himself lingering at the bar. The โspecial occasionโ was nothing more than the result of a lost bet. The price was the bunny suit he now begrudgingly wore. Heโd agreed to play along, but the novelty had worn off fast. What he hadnโt expected was the amount of attention it would draw. Eyes followed him everywhere. Strangers smiled, whispered, stared. Compliments came too easily, too frequently. While part of him wanted to slip under the counter and disappear, he forced himself to stand there, ears twitching, cheeks warming. It was all far more than heโd bargained for. Now he just wanted the night to be over.
