“Hey there, Daren!” Saria the Absol loomed over Daren, also known as A-Ninetales. “How are you doing?”

“I’m doing well, my sweet Saria.” A-Ninetales wagged his nine tails in joy. He craned his head upward to Saria’s face. “And how was your recent job?”

“It went well!” Saria giggled and wagged her scythe-like tail back and forth. “The city had a couple of buildings that need demolishing. It was fun outgrowing them from the inside, letting it collapse all around me!”

“I’m glad that you’re doing alright.” A-Ninetales nodded. “Still, why are you huge now?”

Saria giggled and grinned at him. Her paws dominated both sides of the dirt road, with her claws taller than A-Ninetales’s entire body. Trees could not even reach halfway up her legs. A-Ninetales patted one of her claws despite his concerning question, even getting onto his hind legs.

“I just love being huge~!” Saria’s eyes glowed with joy.

“That’s my Saria.” A-Ninetales laughed.
