Throughout this passing year, I grew very attached (and oddly so) with ultramarine/klien blue. It, at first, stemmed from the simple beauty of the color itself, but then it began to transform into something more theological and deeper. It began to represent intuition, whimsy, creativity, art, and creation itself, and, in a more radical way, this blue, in my mind, began to symbolize the will of creation itself.
This infatuation with this blue soon translated into Sigurdur, which now is his favorite color just like me. As I developed his personality and, more importantly, his spirituality, I also gave him an intense interest with the sea and all things with it associated (sailors, lighthouses, boats, sea life, captain and fishermen), which merged with that blue. Therefore, in Sigurdur's mind, blue comes to represent his infatuation with the sea, which in of itself represents to him things like prosperity, safety, freedom and emotion, as he often comes to the sea to vent his frustrations to the waters.
Additionally, Sigurdur, even though he's an herbivore, has eaten fish plenty of times throughout his life due to being in a perpetual state between starving and not starving, and so fishes began to represent stability and fertility to him. As he began to study even more about the worlds religions, this interpretation transcended into the fish representing godhood, reproduction and enlightment. This only came to heightened his infatuation with the sea and marine life, which now takes a big part of his leisure time.
Essentially, here's Sigurdur holding in his hands the materialization his own inner nature, therefore, the "little god" inside him.
