A couple of weeks ago I spent 3 afternoons in a row, 25' in the air on a scissor lift, redoing lighting in a big garage/hanger bay with a tin roof that has no shade...and those days had a heat index of 105 degrees.....so yeah...imagine that under a baking tin roof.
I actually managed to sweat so much I killed my cell phone with it! No joke! I fucking grimed it right out.
I now have one of those Casio military spec phones that you can freeze in water, thaw out, and they still work. Cuz this is like the second phone I've destroyed at work.
Bottom line...I fucking hate manual labor. But I look like a real life Wookie/Cousin It hybrid, and have a blue collar mindset and attitude, so working in an office is a no go for me.
