The Wild Hunt descends upon London-- though Max is swiftly wounded, Ruby takes up his sword and, heedless of the danger, makes a do-or-die leap at the leader of the almost endless stream of demonic riders.
[One of my favorite English/European legends is that of the Wild Hunt, because it's just awesome, so when this comic had an art contest, I knew exactly what I wanted to depict. I started out ambitious, but did not have nearly enough time to work on this.
This is rushed and knowing it could have been better makes me crazy, but at the same time I had a lot of fun with textures here! Used especially on the buildings in the BG-- they were all gotten from DeviantArt.]

I do! It's amazing! There's nothing else for it. I'm just going to have to gnaw on your head and eat your art skills now. Then they will be mine! *gnaw-gnaw*
I really should draw the characters being badass now and then. Poor Ruby's been stuck on the couch the last few issues.

Alot of the old Celtic and Germanic mythos gets overlooked in favor of the more popular ones like Greek and Egyptian mythology unless you actively research it (like I did).
Pooka's are awesome, but my fave celtic spook is the Kelpie. I used to have a Kelpie character, but no one really understood it and he wasnt very popular.

amazing detail and the background is masterful. only a slight few perspective problems to be seen but im sure you caught them already ^^ perspective eluded di vinci into his 30s so trust me its no easy challenge to over come.
but over all the theme, style and mechanics are brilliant here

This is by far the most unbelievable piece of artwork i have seen up to date. The fact you were able to make a painting of this magnitude with an old version on Photoshop is mind boggling but i digress. The anatomy is almost perfect; the armor and arm of the closest enemy bothers me slightly. The coloring is magnificent and perspective doesn't falter either. Emotion is dead on as well and the small details like the glass blending slightly with the background makes it seem more natural. Personally, my imagination and creativity have hindered me to create a piece like this but i suppose that comes experience. You have done a magnificent job, keep up the fantastic work
