Litko - (esperanto for bed) giant-leafed ficus often used for cooking as when cooked it only gets tougher, so the food stays moist and hot. Veiny, spiky underside is good for penetrating food and delicately injecting it with an earthy, meaty taste. It fills the den with a floral, nutty, herby scent. Also used to make tents as it can be sewn without ripping. Soft, furry tops are fire resistant and good for bedding. Spikes can be easily ground down, often Langurhali will sew two leaves together so that the soft side is exposed on either side, which also provides a thicker bed or blanket.
