Here we discover the real reason that giant African snails are illegal to own and release into the wild, where Rodent lives. It has nothing to do with crop damage. ;)
While browsing through some Newsgroups, I had come across this picture ( http://i.imgur.com/QNKEa.jpg ), and immediately knew I had to have Rodent encountering one of these fellas. :) <3
I love how this turned out. Nebulosa did a fantastic job at capturing that feeling of surprise as the slow moving snail oozed its way over the rock and glomped down over the unsuspecting head of Rodent as he relaxed back to do some reading. The snail came out awesome, slithering up over the rock, and I love the dripping slime. Just a fantastic pic all around. :D
My thanks to Nebulosa for taking this commission and doing such a fantastic job with it.

What haven't you been eaten by? I wouldn't be surprised if you actually have a compiled list. I think I've seen you "vored" in about every way there is. Well...every overtly lethal way there is at least. There's a couple more cartoony/whimsicle vore methods I don't think I've seen Rodent fall to.
I actually really like the idea of snail vore. I remember as a kid reading stories involving giant snails and every time it happened all I thought in my head " eat them eat them EAT SOMEONE FOR GODS SAKE" but it never happened. There is a lot of RL snail vore though with the coneshell snail, swallows fish and stuff whole.

The horrifying thing about land snail eating someone is that realistically they would be scraping your flesh into its body bit by bit, verry slowly.... at least, I think that is how their mouth's work.

*smlies and nods* I've been a huge fan of coneshell snail vore for a long time, and although being speared by the harpoon might be painful, the way they engulf their prey has always been awesome.
And being slowly devoured, with the slimy, fleshy mouth walking and scraping its way over your body, would be a totally awesome way to go.
