I have to ask, how did you do the background? Heavy inking?

The background was just all painted out in Photoshop. There wasn't any inking in this :3

i wished i had your patience. a week on a background alone? kudos!

i imagine her lost lover being thrown into jail for throwing an imagined insult at some lord, or for the simple fact that he dared to exist... dying there around the same time when his loved one died... cursed to roam the jail dungeon without a way out.
it would also make for a great and creepy role playing game.
