Seems Charlotte managed to sneak into Mercurium's food without him noticing. Due to his curse's conditions he starts to panic. It sounds like she's still alive and conscious, so there still time to fish them out. Mercurium will give them a harsh scolding for this and explain why it's a terrible idea to sneak into a reaper's food (also because Mercurium is known for forgetting to grab his phone from time to time). And how if she wants to go stomach diving to ask first so Mercurium can make preparations.
Many are courious about Mercurium's glowing insides and want a closer look, but Please don't actually do this to poor Mercurium. Charlotte had a phone on her to let Mercurium know before it was too late. Mercurium's body doesn't just break down organic matter but also the life energy/souls of those ingested. Sadly he can't process all souls, and most will make him violently ill if digested.

armaleos #13 Mad. Who went above and beyond with the detailing. Really love how they managed to pull off the glowy veins inside of Mercurium's stomach.

Happy you enjoyed the little context from Merc's point of view as well. Just because Mercurium has some very "monstrous" traits, doesn't mean he enjoys being the monster and often likes when things work out for everyone involved.
