Yahoo! It's done. (for now, at least. I might do some little bits to make it a longer video in the future). Plus a little bonus drabble I wrote to go with it.
In Yuu’s hands, the cheap cosplay crown felt strangely heavy. Cold, metallic. She almost dropped it straight back into the box she had pulled it from, her fingertips recoiling from the sudden icy feeling. What the hell? On the website’s listing, it looked like cheap plastic. In person? The thing looked like it belonged in the dust of an archaeological dig site.
She rolled the cylindrical prop in her palms, admiring the oilslick darkness of the finish, the crimson shine of its single eye. Her thumbnail caught on the subtle surface divots as she absently glided the pads of her fingers across it. It felt right to hold.
Absently, her hands moved of their own accord to place the crown atop her head.
