I really like how everything came out in this one. I'm a little iffy on the colors, so I might adjust them again later (but I swear I've spent so long messing with them, I'm not sure what I'll do next). The background items took embarrassingly long because I have no talent for drawing geometric shapes of any sort. :|

Your shading is incredibly effective despite eschewing any gradients commonly utilized to give depth to objects, or, as the case may be, because of this fact. It is indeed rare for not a strictly realistic style to handle volume so well, both in the application of aforementioned shades and the character positioning. The way your characters interact never leaves a viewer wanting for a more vivid impression of tangibility where hands touch and heads loom over. Judicious application of shading helps elicit the feel of weight as well, and quite satisfyingly.
It is gratifying to see that you keep true to the trend of paying pious attention to detail where items of food are concerned, making them appear enticing despite there ephemeral nature, which is quite important in the genre you're engaged in. A slight gap in detailing could set the food and the rest of the drawing apart under other circumstances or at a hand of another artist, but no such dissonance is detected here. My compliments go to your patience in rendering all those boxes, it helps establish a magnitude of the flareon's - and, by proxy, Olivander's - contentment.

You never fail to praise the aspects of a piece that I found most difficult and time-consuming to render to satisfaction -- and I deeply appreciate it! Your diligence is ubiquitous and self-evident, and although I'm flattered to hear that you may draw a bit of inspiration from my feedback, no pushing is necessary as far as I see. The gradual development at an agreeable pace is often preferable to any forced effort - unless it's an academic environment, where such a focused progress is the entire point, but that's beside the point when the craft in question isn't your primary prospective source of income. The notion of self-improvement is a very admirable, though, and seeing someone succeed magnificently in a development of the skill that has been fostered purely by volition rather than need is beyond inspiring.
