While putting the finishing touches on this picture of Mr. Lee through the years, FurAffinity updated it's AUP to include the following:
"FA does not permit any material involving minors (real or otherwise) under the legal age (18) involved in mature situations. Submissions containing minors must be suitable for all ages, and they must be correctly rated as General."
Seeing how the Mr. Lee age meme has Mr. Lee covered with bloody clawmarks at age 13, in low-slung jeans at age 17, and holding a bloody knife at age 25, all three of which require a "Mature" rating for Violence or Sexual Suggestion, that means I can't post it to FA.
(EDIT: Dragoneer says he misread my original question, and he believes that this picture -is- acceptable under the new AUP, but I'm not going to trust my luck to every mod who comes across this piece having the same opinion when the new rules clearly state <18 = General, no exceptions.)
So come on over and check it out on InkBunny instead! It should be viewable by guests and everything! I spent a lot of time on it, and am hoping people enjoy it as much as I do. ^.^

This dude is mega creepy and is someone I would hope never to meet. Also real scary to see how he was never really a happy child from that 5 year old picture, but I suppose that's all intended. The guy does creep me out more here though, but I guess it is all fine really as that is what may be intended.
I don't see why this one can't be submitted to FA. It's safe for all ages really. If there was excessive gore or nudity in this, it might not be suitable, but the rules don't say that underage kids are restricted, just that they can't be featured in a mature rated submission.
Otherwise, Nice work. I've always wanted to do one of these. For some reason I haven't yet.

"Mature - Submissions containing offensive content or themes. Mature work may involve or depict nudity in an artistic, non-sexual manner, blood and/or violence, or non-explicit sexual themes."
This picture features blood and violence and non-explicit sexual themes. It's the sort of picture I'd always mark as Mature before. It also features three characters of age 17 or lower. And that's no longer koshur on FA.

I dunno, I've seen blood like this in kid's movies before and even in Halloween lawn decorations. I understand if there's actually gore or excessive blood, but there's not enough here to offend anybody. Plus, despite the fact that underage kids aren't okay for adult rated submissions, there's nothing saying that kids are outright unacceptable. Referring to Charn's previous comment, a guy's bulge is really only worth a mature rating if it's excessive in size or visible detail. If bulges like the ones seen here aren't okay for the general public, a lot of the popular styles of pants would be banned from the country. XD
Really, I'm not trying to get on your nerves or anything, I'm just not sure on having to put it up on a different site. Everything seems to check out okay.

Yeah, this kind of stuff makes me want to abandon FA as a bad job....I understand the admins are within their rights to make whatever restrictions they want on top of what is and is not legal to have on a website BUT there comes a point when you alienate all the fun people and are just left with stuck-up $%^&*s who argue over what they do and don't think should be posted on their favorite art website. IB has the right idea, so does e621. I have disagreed with the banning of underage artwork since the first hit on it, and will never support any site which bans it.
However, nice art. Mr. Lee is scary :3

Bloody knife, and clawed up 13 year old (and 17 year old selling his dick and/or ass on the street). Not going to take a chance with the mods on this one. It's something I'd mark Mature on my own.
But this is a sign I need to stop censoring my art ideas to make them FA-okay to post. Future Age-Memes will be properly naked, as they should be.

Yeah, any mod who would look at this and instantly say "this isn't allowed!" should get their heads examined and resign from mod duties. But unfortunately, the law is a blunt instrument, and so is the rules here. This is a good piece of artwork and rather interesting, and does not fall under any child pornography laws. It's rules like this being enforced that are too vague which is why I defend the freedom of (icky) speech and am against censorship, and even laws that are so vague towards ownership of things like knives, airsoft guns, and even real firearms to the point you don't know fully what's legal or not. Hell, New York state and city have laws towards knives that are vague enough that cops can declare on the spot that your legal knife that you have is a gravity knife and say it's illegial under the law, then confiscate it.
