There is so much to say about the Styxians. They are perhaps the oldest sentient race on Nunis, predating even the modern incarnation of Aetherials by thousands of years. Their prolific history is due in part to their Quthic lineage, being made entirely complete as a servitor race to the long-dead emperian Qu. Ill spare you the story of Qu and her death, but know her children - Quthites - are exceptionally powerful guardians of her influence that remain largely unchanged since ancient times. All excluding the Styxians, who in some bygone era managed to collectively leave their assigned warren to wander the icy wastes of their homeland.

As is the case with all Quthites, their body follows a roughly reptilian form. Being so ancient however, and gathering in reclusive and insular communities, their morphology differs widely from one clutch to another. Some clans such as those from their alpine homeland, are broad and hardy - draconic even. Similarly, a clutch from a seaside village may resemble something more serpentine and delicate.
