Should transform into a vampire squid, that'd solve the issue :)
Vampirotheuthis Infernalis is the latin name of the species, literally "vampire squid from hell"
They life in the death zone of the deep sea. A layer of water with dangerously low oxygen content bordering the abyssal deep sea chasms. Most who enter there die from oxygen deprivation. Or are preyed upon by vampire squids.
They are an ancient creature, sharing a common ancestor with both octope and squids.
But unlike those, vampire squids can grow old. Very old.
Cause unlike their cousins, they don't die after completing their reproduction cycle. They carry their eggs, and eventually release the hatchlings , to feast upon deep sea snow, while their parents live on to repeat the cycle.
Theres always a way.
