It was my first time working with brass, but it turned out really well.
I was worried that it wouldn't be possible to soft solder, because brass is usually hard soldered with silver and borax (or at least that's how I was taught at school), but unfortunately, I don't have that in my workshop.
But it worked quite well with zinc-chloride and tin(SnPb) solder, which is good.
The only thing I would say I didn't manage to do well were the holes for sound transmission, because I had to make a lot of them and they are not evenly spaced, but hey, I'm not a CNC machine.
Another thing I really succeeded at was imitating wood, because the whole box is made of MDF and was covered with some kind of plastic film with a wood texture, which I obviously didn't want there, so I removed it with a wire wheel, and because I was a bit of an idiot, I didn't just remove the plastic layer, but also a bits of the MDF, so I tried to save it with sandpaper, but to no success.
So, I took a blowtorch and burned it, and with a few coats of varnish, it created what I think is a good imitation of wood, definitely better than some plastic film. :)
But hey, much better than a lunch box.:)
