So, for the first time in my life... both as an artist and as a writer... I made it to Midwest Fur Fest.
In this image you can see me during Day 2, peddling my books, and having just completed a funny $20 image (story in its own page). Overall, I consider this to be a fairly successful convention. Each day saw at least one person/group take home the full Vengeance trilogy of books. But almost every purchase was for Book 1, and everyone got it signed, and almost everyone got a book mark to go with it.
Honestly, I did not expect the success I saw. I was in the Artist Alley (hats off to anyone that stopped by!), and I was expecting that if I was gonna get in at all, it would be on the Sunday... but then I got in on DAY 1! And again on Day 2! And everyone got in on Day 3. I know there are plenty who I'm a fan of that were over in Dealers Den, and I'm sorry I didn't get to come say hello... but I was kinda busy peddling books XD
Now, with that said... A few announcements:
1. There is a better than even chance I'll be back next year... hopefully with a proper booth either in Dealers or Market Place.
2. If you weren't at MFF, and didn't hear this... I am working on a fourth book in the Vengeance series: "Aces of Noverra", which deals primarily with fighter pilots.
3. I am hoping to have my other book: Flames of Instinct; The Wild Dragon, published, and available. When it is, I'll make it available first here, and then announce when and where you can snag physical copies with my signature.
4. I'll be making a series of bookmarks. Details are few right now, but I'll announce them when they become available.
Anyway, I hope everyone that was at MFF 2025 had a good time, was SAFE, and didn't come home with something that requires medication or a twenty year commitment (though... if that happened and you're ok with it... congrats). And I hope to see you all next year!
Tank out.
Special Thanks to
Rikkoshaye,
aquilla-whingate, and Taiga Wolf for your help this weekend!
