It's no secret to those around me that the Monster Hunter series has claimed large chunks of my free time in the past months. I first started with Wilds after being peer-pressured by long-time fans, and while the game is *okay* due to it's downright atrocious performance, I couldn't help but fall in love with Poogie. Hearing about MH Stories 3 coming out with March, I quickly bought the first and second games to catch up on the series in preparation. While I absolutely loved all the cool monsties and subspecies I could collect, the 100 Poogies scattered around the world was the single greatest game mechanic EVER produced.

I would often show my friend Diin some of the Poogs I found since he's been a fan of Monster Hunter since it came out (haha old man). Thus, when I collected all of them and he asked my favourite one I just thought he was genuinely interested in my opinion. Turns out the little rat used this information against me and got me this absolutely adorable surprise art that has now become both my discord icon and phone wallpaper! I guess it's fitting that my favourite Poogie was also the final Poogie I found.

I am absolutely overjoyed with just how happy Aspen looks holding a Poogie, because that's exactly how I react when I see one too. Diin may be a sneaky bastard using our friendship for nefarious purposes, but he's an absolute sweetie pie and I can't thank him enough <3
