Prithee, Maidens, look closer. See not this garden as it is now, but as it might be! Should the knight Take the Care of the garden to heart, What wonderous things might grow there! Delicate things that in the wilder meadows would sprout but once or twice could fill the flowerbed whilst protected by walls such as these. With flowing fountains think of how lush and verdant the greenery might become. With careful hand to guide the vines and thorns, how Lovely and regal might the rosebush seem, and how secure may seem the creeping vine upon the wall. See not the stones for the mountains from which they were carried away, see instead the care and skill with which they have been shaped and laid one upon another. In your wild meadows perhaps there had been a Cairn or Two in sparse places. See how strength of will and hand have shaped these stones from rough things which may cause stumbling as you make your path, and instead have been made Smooth and Clean, and given purpose to protect and safeguard that which lies within.
Within these walls there is the potential for a Vale of Light and Laughter to be brought about, much to the benefit and gain of loveliness to this place of otherwise Practical Fundaments. Have patience perhaps, and see hitherto if the Knight and Lord of this place will not for admiration of thee cause this place to become a refuge and place of beauty. Surely the ways of this Knight cannot be as terrible and harsh as the home of the dragon? Give the garden a chance, for was not the meadow magnified in its loveliness by your presence? Perhaps then this Garden will grow to be a worthy place of respite for maidens such as yourself, whether 'tis your will to abide 'ere long or short a time.
