One of these things is not like the others, one of these things is friendly and cute... Third member of Team Jet, Mitzi Fiera.

Mitzi Fiera is the daughter of police officer Jack Fiera and semi-retired professional arena battler Andrea Fiera. Her parents split when she was very young when her mother was unable to resist the call of the arena and found herself unable to settle down and raise a couple of pups. Mitzi and her older brother Jerry were raised by their father, who had his paws full to say the least. Mitzi's brother was a standout at the P.C.A. and currently battles as Jerry Cinder in "Uncle Felix's" battle league. She looks up to him greatly.

Mitzi was something of a battle prodigy at an early age despite her rather poor academic skills and was excited to follow in her mother's footsteps. She excelled at all manner of combat-oriented sports even though she was, to be blunt, not exactly the brightest spark in the fire. Mitzi met Nicole Blackclaw when they were seven years old and competing in a Junior League regionals tournament. They battled to a rare draw and quickly became best friends.

The two trained together a lot growing up despite their differences in type and style. When they were eleven years old it was Mitzi who knocked Nicole out of the Junior League championships even though she didn't herself win - she intentionally lost in the next round because she felt it more important to cheer up her best friend than "win some silly tournament".

Over the past year and a half since Nicole's attitude problem developed she has grown more and more distant from Mitzi, but the growlithe loyally stays by her best friend in spite of everything she's done. Mitzi doesn't give up hope that Nicole will remember how to be happy again and that she'll get her best friend back.

Mitzi isn't very smart and is about as close to the idyllic "dumb blonde" as it gets. She has a very short attention span and a perpetually cheerful and bubbly attitude. However she's something of an idiot savant with her area of expertise being in battles and tactics. She has an innate sense of combat situations and an uncanny ability to predict and react to an opponent's moves in the arena. Mitzi is athletically gifted and combines physical attacks with very potent fire-based ones (fire is bright and shiny and it looks like it's dancing!). If she has a fault it's her lack of focus, although this is overcome with Nicole standing behind her calling the shots.

In addition to her position on Team Jet, Mitzi is on the school's gymnastics team, is a member of the cheerleading squad, and oddly enough, a member of the school's chess club. She's shown here in the team's official uniform although she's the only one who ever really wears it.
