Poor bean. What he did was inexcusable, but he needs to atone and find the light.

Yeah, he may have done things in the film that are deemed questionable and inexcusable, but we can see where he is coming from. Others said he is a dark reflection of Nick and Judy, only that those two had loving families to keep them on the right path, even if they were not always one hundred percent supportive, they were still loving parents. Pawbert had nobody to love him the same way, although we never had been told about the mother or what happened to her. If she was the only one who ever showed love to Pawbert, then she could have been forced to leave and not take her son along, or Milton might've had her killed to spite her and Pawbert, maybe lying to him all his life about her absence.

Hard to say, but we definitely need a Pawbert redemption arc.
