So a little update for you guys
here, after a month I've finally regained access to the internet! \o/ In that time all of the first shoot was completed, and all that remains is to throw the text in :3
Expect that the first shoot will have the remainder posted in roughly...a week (maybe less, maybe a little more...but very soon regardless)
after that we're going to take some time to get started on readying several pages of the second shoot
Instead of it being 2 pages a week, it will only be one...but! to substitute the lack of the page, a new comic will be instituted :3 more about that to come in the near future as well!
ALSO we will be making a journal very soon about recruiting a new artist to join our team~ requirements and such will be posted in the journal.
Now about this post, this is a snippit of the final product of how the second shoot will look :D and who is Humphrey you ask? you'll just have to wait and see~ ;D

Too bad about "Behind the Lens" comic updates being reduced to only one page a week instead of two. While I'm thinking about it, will it be updating on Fridays or Mondays now?
Also, good news to hear about a new comic in the works as well. I'm curious to learn what it'll be about. :)

Why on Earth are you starting a new comic when updates aren't even coming out of this one? I hope *both* comics will be seeing a page a week come out. If not, my opinion on this idea is sour. Roommates updates slow enough as is, I don't need another comic that takes forever to update.
hence why we're going to be 'interviewing' for a second line artist to work with us on the other comic...we already have a committed artist for the new chapter for BtL, which you know for a fact was running decently smoothly with hiccups now and again until the end...
besides...why complain when the comic is FREE anyways? ;P it's not like you're paying to see it...
anyhew with a new line artist that
lightdevil and I will choose, we will make certain that the comics will have a steady -one page a week- flow...we will MAKE SURE it happens
both she and I were rather ticked that the comic has taken this long in the first place when it should have been finished...back in April >.<

I'd like to keep interest in a comic, and that's difficult to do when updates don't come. I'm sure you want viewers to be interested as well in a project you do for said viewers, correct?
The whole "it's free so why complain" thing is getting old. It's called "giving feedback", which is what artists need. Not all feedback is positive. If it was, the artist would be perfect, and thus wouldn't need any negative feedback.

well like I said, lightdevil and myself have no trouble committing the time necessary, what we're in need of is a good line artist who is willing and able to put the time and effort into something like this. Plus...I do believe a little respect should be given to us for doing this in the first place, we wanted to do something for people on FA. You also need to realize that we don't ask for money for this and all of us work either full time, overtime and/or go to school (or a combination of such).
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but you need to realize that we're doing this all in the little spare time we have for the sake of people on FA, as well as the gratification of creating something that has grown in a liked thing here on FA.
Be aware that as acting 'manager' of this profile, my goal is to do as you suggested but it is difficult when all parties are unable to follow through or see less of a point when there isn't any money involved. I'm not looking to start any kind of drama here, I'm just trying to get you to see where I'm coming from.

And I've given said respect, many times. I've already said how much I appreciate the comic in many of its pages. It is interesting, and I like it (for when it updated).
However, it's been at least 4 months since the last update. I understand things happen, but it doesn't take away the fact that the comic hasn't been alive for a while. I'll gladly eat my words and give positive feedback when it is due, but for now, nothing can be given. Too many times have promises been made by plenty of artists that weren't kept, so my being skeptical isn't a total illusion.

well the fact that the comic hadn't been updated lays more in part with Easy. I'm not pointing any fingers or shifting any blame but the fact of the matter is...he started pursuing his own desires and left the comic high and dry for a while. we've been waiting to try and finish it but trying to get in touch with him and with our clashing schedules is like trying to get a sick baby to stop crying xD
know that we're really trying to get it finished...the pages are finished they just need the wordings and such then they're ready to post~ :3
if push comes to shove, I'll find a way around it and come up with an alternative of simply posting the pages and putting the dialogue in the description but that just looks sloppy xP

Please do know, I'm also not trying to start any drama. I'm giving my honest feedback. That, in itself, is the most respect I could give to someone. If I didn't care, I wouldn't say anything constructive and lie saying things I don't really mean, or just not say anything at all.
Which would you rather have?

well seeing as how I am the one responding to you myself...I don't take criticism well lol, what can I say...I'm a perfectionist and I hate it when people just knock down my stuff, I do appreciate creative criticism but without any positive comments in the mix it makes for a lackluster and you lose the will to continue...at least that's the case for me ^^;
