Yesterday, December 11, 2025, I was with the assistance company Tindra at Spången's inn and had a nice Christmas dinner.
Spången's inn is known from one of the films with Edvard Persson that was recorded during the 40s. Old black and white films.
My mother Elisabeth was a big fan of Edvard Persson and had many VHS tapes with Edvard Persson. Among them the one called "Kalle på Spången" and which is recorded at Spången's inn.
My father, who could sometimes express himself in a silly way, used to say
– “Kalle på Spången shit in his underwear!”
But that's not the name of the movie.
Kenneth Urkedal, who is now retired and lives in Spain, had come to Spången's inn just for the Christmas dinner and had a nice chat with Kenneth Urkedal.
At the Christmas dinner I ate the following!
1: The cold dish!
It came with salmon, pickled herring, smoked sausage, pâté, eggs with various things on them and a large white mushroom. I drank Sprite and water with it.
2: The hot dish!
Also included was a large white mushroom, orange slices, Prince's sausage, meatballs, meat and Jansson's temptation.
3: Rounded off with an orange!
