So when I originally conceived Sparra as a character, she was a "Spellbreaker" or rather, she could use anti-magic to manipulate and/or halt any magic targeted at her. However, the cost of this is that it drains her sanity, rather then energy (like most other spellcasters). She could do one of several things when a spell was about to strike her:

-She can block the spell, effectively nullifying it
-She can redirect the spell to any target she sees fit
-She can "break" the spell, nullifying it... But is able to cast that same spell at any time exactly ONCE afterwards

Sparra also had no active control over this ability, as it was purely instinct-driven. Generally what she needed to happen happened. One could also abuse this ability by simply spamming spells at her to drive her insane (of course, then you have a raging, mentally unstable (moreso then normal) gryphon on your hands).

Another effect is that any spell she redirects or casts herself is changed in appearance. That is, they turn green and summons will form into gryphon-like shapes. It's only a cosmetic effect however, and doesn't affect the spell in anyway.
