Wolf's Rain is also an awesome series, if you haven't watched it. It's one of very few that has managed to make me cry a little xD

I have watched Wolf's rain and it not bad but I wouldn't say its up there with trigun or cowboy bebop.

If you going to watch hellsing, watch the ultimate Hellsing series...it keeps true to the manga.

Yep same here one of the first anime's I saw, as I remember I only saw Gosth In the Shell (the movie) before Trigun, loved those city which was erected on ship wrecks.
