This was my attempt to do a four panel comedy strip style comic. I liked the idea of it but generally I'm not a joke/punchline kind of writer. This was based on a real world conversation with a friend before they set out to do a several week European vacation in 2003. "Between X and Y" is a reference to my lifelong struggle with gender identity and also being between two generations. I'm the tale end of Gen X but often identify with Millennial woes. Growing up they were called "Generation Y" until later on.

Details unknown, this was considered lost until I learned there are some archives of the VCL out there, but only the images and not the context. From the looks and timing I'm going to guess it was mostly brush pen on bristol, Circa 2003.
