Yes! He was. A reminder to all that good and evil people, and every sort in between, exist within all religious affiliations and beliefs, and atheists as well. Islam is not evil, nor are all Muslims in support of the terrible things some extremist Islamic groups do. Just as Jews, ethnic or religiously, are not villains.
That man risked his life in defense of innocent victims. Even knowing that it would be both dangerous, and unpopular. Meanwhile, social media is chock full of people laughing and mocking the people who lost their lives in that attack, and claiming the whole thing was a false flag, a hoax, or a planned sacrifice for sympathy. :(
Love will win the day. As the Muslim man who put himself in harms way to save people from hate-fueled murder can attest to.
