Half the coworkers bought EDF: Earth Defense Force last month. So I bought a copy myself after I finished Alice. In truth, its a very fun game. All you do is kill giant ants and spiders and knock down buildings. Its just all out explosions and bug guts. Sadly, no one at work has EDF for PS3 and I played co-op with my friend, but the setup of the vertical split screen gets a bit annoying. PC wanted to play it, and very quickly, she was hooked. She had a fear of spiders, but she said that blowing them away with nuclear weapons makes it look funny. Its fun to watch her play until she goes all cutesy.

EDF: Earth Defense Force used to be a SNES game that was a side-scroller in which you flew a spaceship shooting all kinds of weapons at invading alien life.
