This character was inspired by a Bigfoot sighting that went viral on the internet for a brief moment last year until it was debunked by a popular and controversial YouTuber, who revealed it to be an advertisement for a vape shop in Oklahoma. Around the same time it was popular, I was listening to an episode of a podcast where someone was telling a story about heading to the forest and encountering a wild ape with reddish-brown fur like an orangutan sitting down while eating berries and scratching himself.
