A canvas collection of practice sketches I'd been putting together across several days as a fun finish to other less exciting practices such as volume rotations and painfully simple attempts at gesture drawing.

While each is riddled with problems stemming from my inexperience I still found there to be stand out qualities to each making me confident enough to atleast put this up under scraps. Some are definitely weaker than others such as the swimming one. No particular characters were really pictured for any of these (although the sitting one could pass as one of my own, Leif probably) I still enjoyed the little bits of expression and different moods present between the different sketches.

One fun fact is that some of these poses, such as the swimming, jumping, and "flying" ones were suggestions from friends at the time of practice. One was even made mid voice call which remains a pretty rare experience for me that I hope to do better in over time.

I'm sure a keen observer can spot the various construction techniques from some tutorials online I'd tried to brush up on to improve my results even if they haven't been used to their full potential. I am overall very happy with the results despite their shortcomings and general issues. And look forward to trying to manifest some of the highlight elements here in future pieces hopefully :D
