No, we are not wounded. But Lily might've triggered something. It happened back at the Well during the massacre, and it happened here again. Something within her changed and she went from scared, to locked-in and no hesitation on pulling the trigger.

But as quick as it came, it faded, and Lily was an emotional wreck. I don't know what that was. Some PTSD response?

I knew I shouldn't of taken her here so soon.

I appreciate your concern over her, but I believe what she is going through is a bit more complex. Something I have seen before in other wielders.

Wielders are pre-programmed for what they were designed to. You and Lily are both C3 wielders, specializing on covert combat.

You were made to be fighters, so much so the muscle-memory & mindset has already been placed within you. Its why you are already capable fighters immediately after your creation.

What you saw with Lily appears to be her programming surfacing. Do you remember when yours surfaced?


Yes, I was tossed into fights by bandits. They escalated from fist fights to deathmatches. I fought in a way I that felt natural to me.

Same feeling as when I picked up weapons, there was immediate familiarity on how to use them effectively, even though I had never held one prior.

Lily is going through her own 'awakening' of her programming, and it looks to be in clear conflict with the person she used to be.

If I'm not mistaken, Lily lived a civilian life prior to the massacre correct?
